this workshop will dig into the art of lamp making from initial design to final piece. We will explore the possibilities of what you can create with this hands-on material and leave with something beautiful for your home.

guided by Andria rachich we will learn how to go from initial abstract inspiration, to 2d drawing, to 3d form.

Andria studied Art History and Interior Design, but has always been drawn to the fun stuff - colour, texture, beautiful objects and spaces with a little personality.

Clover is where all of that comes together: thoughtful design, a playful spirit, and pieces that don’t take themselves too seriously.

Throughout the 3 days, participants will be fully hands on in creating their own design. Skills we will work on are wedging clay, hand building ceramic, mark making, hardware selection, making a paper lampshade, glazing and, as always, making a mess.

We will be gathering in a beautiful studio in the south end of salt spring island and each day will have touchpoints of moving our bodies, time in nature, delicious snacks, and studio scents. We cANT WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE. SIGN UP AT THE LINK BELOW.
