Laura Keil is an artist working on Salt Spring Island. Her pots are hand built with coils, slabs and pinching. She has studied ceramics all over the world. She had the good fortune to study with Akio Takamori at the University of Washington which left her, above all else, with an appreciation for the value of personal expression and good humour in art making.
